In the heart of AjijicPosted on Diana NashTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Quintessential Hispanic hotel in the heart of Anjijic and near Lake Campala. Not a resort, so don’t expect perfection, just gracious hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast.Posted on Freetirement Randy & LoriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The staff had wonderful communication prior to our arrival and stored our bags for us since we arrived early. When we returned to check in the friendly staff had already put our bags in our room. The rooms were nice but wifi is just okay. They had a good size fridge and microwave. The beds were very comfortable and soft. The water pressure is lacking, but there was hot water after you let the shower run between 5 and 10 minutes. The hotel is in a great location. Very close to the malecon and Ajijic Square. It is right across from the Lake Chapala Society which has been around since the 1960s. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.Posted on Oscar HernandezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excelente el lugar pero para el calor es necesario el aire acondicionado que no tiene el hotel.Posted on Enrique Cuitlahuac Pérez Cortés Hernández (Cui)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Altamente recomendable.Posted on Rosemarie WilliamsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This romantically designed boutique hotel is magical and has all the amenities that one could ask for. Walking distance to town and Lake Chapala, continental breakfast for the early riser and the accommodations are excellent. We enjoyed our stay. Ps… We would also like to mention that the new rooftop deck (called the Mirador) is a comfortable place to hang out at night to enjoy the moon and stars! We will be back! The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the towels are plush, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking to the Lake Chapala malecon, and a number of restaurants, stores and museums in the area. They offer laundry service for your personal items. The water for bathing is consistently hot. The only thing that was not perfect is when people smoked in the permitted areas, the smoke wafted into our room which was unpleasant. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms but it is allowed in the outdoor common areas. There is even a bar in the lobby where the staff will make you an adult beverage upon request. Overall a great place!Posted on Barbara EddingsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good location, close to Malecon, across the street from Lake Chapala Society a great place to get help and contacts for immigration to Mexico and easy walk to multiple restaurants. The staff are helpful and friendly. Internet was fine. Stayed 10 days in November 2023.
